Usually this page will be called “About Us“. But we realized, that what we do is really ABOUT YOU. Our daily job-is TO CLEAN YOUR HOME. But OUR MISSION is to make sure you, OUR CUSTOMER, has quality indoor air, dust free, chemical free, and thus we use microfiber to pick up all the dust, and Green Seal certified cleaning products to reduce allergens and chemical smell in your home. Especially important if you kids and pets!

You need a service that takes some day to day stress from your shoulders-that is why we carefully prescreen and thoroughly train each of our team players: from customer service basics to important details how to handle delicate surfaces, pieces of art or antiques.And if it happens you are not completely thrilled with the service-please, let us know! We will be back in no time to re-clean at no charge ( we just need to know within 2 days after that appointment)

You must hire a service that you can trust-we are a professional organization, registered with the state of Illinois, fully insured and bonded. Feel free to request a copy!

Our workers are covered by Workers Compensation (as required by state law and for your peace of mind)

You want a service reliable and responsible: we guarantee we will be at your place each day you scheduled! if we make a mistake-your next cleaning is free!

And if the accident happened: we will cover the cost of damaged item, or replace it at our expense.

About Us

American Maids is a local Chicago family business. We are not a franchise.

We have been professionally cleaning homes since 2005 and started out as a cleaning company who worked with landlords cleaning up places between the moves. Later on we expanded to working with Realtors and developers, cleaning the places for sale, before closings and after construction and remodeling. American Maids was one of the first companies who implemented and started to use Green Cleaning technology, eliminating paper towels and harsh chemicals in our cleaning process. We are only one of the few professional cleaning companies that offer Green cleaning supplies FREE OF CHARGE to our customers.

Currently we offer maid services on regular and on-call basis, janitorial services for offices and common areas, as well as post construction/remodeling and between moves cleaning both for residential and commercial properties.

SERVICE AREA:

We service North suburbs from Evanston to Lake Forest, Oak Park, Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Niles, Skokie, Glenview, Morton Grove and most of the city-Downtown to North and North West sides. Please contact us to check if we service your area.
